Get ready for THIS IS MEDIA!

Change is a constant in our industry and accordingly the SMA 2019 categories have been updated to be more relevant for today. Some categories have been added and others removed. What remains a constant however, is that judges will be encouraged to seek-out how the craft of media solely and significantly contributed to the success and results of a campaign and the stated client business outcomes. The written entry itself must shine through and bring to life the campaign and how MEDIA was used to drive the stated outcomes and results. As per previous years, campaign videos are not mandatory and bear no weight on the judges final score. Entrants are encouraged on telling a compelling story and convincing the judges why they should be awarded, via the written entry and campaign board.

Categories 1-20
  • Entry Submission Form
  • Letter of Approval (Head of Agency or Media Owner)
  • Letter of Endorsement (Client)
  • Google Drive URL comprising all supporting documents (e.g. Digital Presentation Board, video, write-up, report, etc.)
Categories 21 - 22
  • Entry Submission Form
  • Letter of Approval (Brand’s CEO/MD)
  • Optional: Google Drive URL comprising all supporting documents (e.g. video, write-up, report, etc.)

 

 

Categories 25 - 31
  • Nomination Form
  • Letter of Endorsement (Nomination)
  • Optional: Google Drive URL comprising all supporting documents (e.g. video, write-up, report, etc.)
Category 32
  • Nomination Form
  • Letter of Endorsement (Nomination)
  • Optional: Google Drive URL comprising all supporting documents (e.g video, write-up, report, etc.)

Important Notes

Entry Submission

  1. Please prepare one Entry Form for each entry.
  2. Ensure that all credits are exact including spelling of names and titles as this is how it will appear on the certificates in the event the entry is awarded.
  3. Any request for change after the certificate has been produced will be deemed as a duplicate sales request.
  4. Changes to the team credits will not be accepted after judging has taken place.

 

 

Payment Matters

  1. Entry fees are non-negotiable and non-refundable.
  2. Entries are not officially accepted and confirmed until payment is received by the 4As Secretariat.
  3. Please note that entries that have not been paid for by the final closing date will not be judged.
  4. All tickets for the Forum and Gala Awards Dinner must be paid before August 30, 2019, and September 6, 2019, respectively.

 

 

The 4As reserves the right to use or reproduce the work of all entries for Singapore Media Awards related activities; and in any other industry-related or educational activities at such times deemed appropriate.
